How do they make the Feldzeichen?

Just interested, is the black dot sewn to the white surround or is it all glue? Rob

The colour portion is always hand stitched to the white background. On reproductions all cloth is glued on. There used to be a thread on feldzeichen with photos posted in the Pickelhaube Discussion area or check in the Busby section.
