I wanted to share my additions to my skull collection. An early crooked grin cast example for IR92's shako, and a stamped version for LAH 17's Pelzmütze.

Officer Skull for Braunschweig Husaren-Regiment Nr. 17 Pelzmütze​

A new skull I am happy with. I have been looking for one of these. It is bronze and quite well made with great detail. It is not perfect as it is missing its tabs, and has a bracket added for mounting on something besides a pelzmutze, that also appears as the same material, bronze. Perhaps this was done shortly after manufacture and the tabs removed on purpose?

Not sure what it would have been mounted to, I have seen them on a Sabretache. The holes have some white on the back that is slightly shaped like a square nut? Any opinions?
