Steve has kindly sent me additional pics of some helmets that he has in his collection. The plan is to use the forum to help fight off the negativity that we are all surrounded with by this virus. I have told Steve that I will post all the pictures he can muster. . I am going to post some of my own as well. I would encourage everyone to do the same. Let us enjoy our collections!

Very nice. I hope I can find time and limp around to find my IR88 to post.

My angle grinder kickbacked yesterday when I doing woodwork for more helmet shelves. The whole grinder flew off, sliced the right shin and cut into the bone.

Went to the nearest clinic and he refused to stitch me up cos he said he can see the bone. Then he wanted to refer me to the nearest hospital which is a government hospital that takes in covid patients. So I went to usual private hospitals and yes they don't take covid patients. When covid symptoms are present in a patient, the private hospital put the patients in a tent and ferry them in special ambulance to those designated hospitals

Anyway had an emergency surgery and they found splinters and chipped off bones and the surgeon returned me my bones lol and two layers of stitching about 30 and gg home today.

But need to be at work cos one of my staffs is on leave of absence as we are in education industry and new rule is educators have to be longer govt paid leave even if they had gone to low risk country.

From Memory ; and I have had that helmet for years .I rarely take a helmet out of the display case
so I forgot to look for Kammer stamp but I think is has one of those tags put in by the soldier
white with black diamonds around the edges with name and unit .I will get it back out
and check .
