I R 91 Oldenburg officer dress hat

While changing parts of helmet display I ran across
this I R 91 Oldenburg officer dress hat.
A former 3rd Reich collector of hats
told me that this maker was well know quality hat maker
the inside has extra features.

Your collector friend was right Steve - Peküro is a well known maker of high-end caps, particularly in the inter-war and WW2 era. This was likely made for an Oldenburg veteran (one of the "gold medals" in the interior logo carries a 1928 date). A very scarce piece - I cant recall seeing another! Beautiful.
