I have to tell you I got excited at first until I clicked on the post.

My hopes were dashed like a wave on a rock.

There is nothing right about this piece, I can't even think of who would have worn such a shako.
 
Yes the English made Shako copy from the 1970’s. This is the first Wurtemberg I have seen, I got burned on a Saxe as did another member on a Prussian. We did not know about these 15 years or so ago and got sucked into buying them. Fortunately, that stitched leather rim is a dead giveaway. These were discussed here years ago on this site.
