Some clever Russian fellow has sculpted a Landsturmmann based on a soldier in one of my photos with impressive results:

Original:

Bearded Landsturmmann from Landsturm Infanterie Bataillon 'Breslau', Bernstadt (Silesa) railway station 1914 by drakegoodman, on Flickr

The sculpted figure:

Impressive! Surely the sculptor was either an informed collector or has had help with determing the coloring all the way down to the bayonet knot!
What scale is this and what's it for?

It turns out that this isn't just a one-off sculpture as I originally thought. Yours for $65.00 from Citadel Models.

Brett, that is way cool! Did you ever contact that fellow? He got the bluing a bit wrong on the Gewehr 88 action and bolt, but it is really a very nice figure. Maybe if I leave a few extra cookies for Santa? Hmmmn!
