Ink stamps for Joe

An 1874 all ink not pressed stamp! The earliest I had recorded before this was 1888.

Here is Chas' once again (you don't mind Chas do you?) from his M71 Garde Mannschaften FAR

And to beat that by one year, a Württemberg Train Abteilung 13
Mannschaften Tschako.

Cool! Thanks! Ok let's switch the game and go for latest pressed date. I THINK I have a picture of a 1910 around here somewhere. We now know ink alone existed in 1873 a full 15 years earlier than my earlier examples!

Well so these marks extended both ways the entire period. I can only observe that ink grew and pressing subsided. Thanks!

Brian: The 1871 dated helmet is a model 1860 shako. Sorry, I neglected to mention that is the previous post.
