Insane letter/photo grouping

Howdy all! I hope everyone is well! I have something very special to show y’all, this is a grouping I acquired last Christmas and have yet to really dig into.

This is a Letter/photo grouping of Ludwig Murr of the 10. Bavarian infantry regiment of the 2nd machine gun company letters date from around 1914 all the way to 1918.

I took these quick photos today but can certainly get more and close ups if you would all like.

I would love to get his story translated and possibly put into a book but I would have no idea where to start.

If any of you would know what to do, please don’t hesitate to let me know!

All the best,

Dane Jensen

Congratulations Dane,
What a wonderful grouping. You have letters / postcards, and pictures, and you can probably find his military records in the Bavarian archives online (not all records have survived), so you'll have the complete story.
Regards,
Lars

A card with writing

I’ve used a translation service before but now with the various translation apps you might be able to do it using one of those. Great grouping!

Correction on his name, it is Ludwig Murr, was part of the K. Bayer. 25. Inf.-Reg 1. Komp
Then later joined the 10. Bavarian infantry regiment of the 2nd machine gun company

I’ve tried using some of those apps, they don’t always seem to get the hand writing or they won’t translate the whole card. It’s really unfortunate.

Thank you so much Doug!
