Is this a genuine JzP helmet?

This is an area I know nothing about, so the answer may be obvious to some but it isn't to me. I thought this helmet looked more than slightly wacky, but it also has some appearance of age. Not something I'm interested in buying, but just curious - might it possibly be original and correct?

Hi!
This is actually a Prussian M1915 Kürassier Mannschafte (Other Ranks/O.R.) Metalhelme in poor shape which would cost a small fortune to restore and complete with a pair of M91 O.R. Cockades, a genuine M1915 leather chinstrap and more importantly the proper Kürassier spike--very hard to find by itself--provided it would properly twist-on/mount that damaged (looks melted) slotted bayonet spike base fitting (otherwise you'd also need to find a new Kürassier base which would also be impossible to find by itself unless faked).
One might also need to replace the wappen as its crown was snapped-off probably after the fall of the monarchy or one could leave it as part of the history of the helmet.

As for the green paint, this is either fake/post-war add-on--the fact wappen (eagle plate) isn't painted might be a clue to that--or one of those "special" versions we were recently discussing in the following thread (scroll down to bottom): http://www.pickelhaubes.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5943" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You're welcome!
I learned all this thanks to the more knowledgeable guys here on the Forum ( :army: ).
