is this a pickelhaube found at loos

OK...what you have in my opinion is a Hessen spike top plus the neck and base of a pickelhaube spike. Were these found together? I would doubt that they were as the Hessen spike belongs on a cruciform base not a round one as shown in your second picture. A very cool find none the less.
 
the pickelhaube part was found near hollezern redoubt loos the spike was found at the boars head that the sussex attacked june 30th however this battle ground was also fought over in 1915...I aslo found two cap badges here a sussex and an ox and bucks
 
That Hessen spike top would be very valuable if it were not in "dug" condition. Congrats on your treasure hunting.
 
Wonderful piece of history, I found a Prussian EM belt buckle in the field just of the Second Div memorial at Pozieres, very much the worst for ware but what a find, something that had lay there in the ground since the battle raged in 1916. =D>
