Is this worth it?

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having an amazing weekend. On my hunt for my first pickelhaube, I have come across this Prussian pickelhaube and I believe it is an m15. the asking price is $993.5 NZD (535.99euro, 895.53AUD, 556.16USD) including shipping, however the cockades are missing, and the line isn't in the best shape. What do you guys think? (Sorry about some of the angles of the pictures)

Unfortunately, the first 5 photos remain as thumb nails and can’t be enlarged for a better look. 😕 An original chin strap sells now for $250-300 US if you can find one. I can not tell whether this is original or not. No kokarden makes me think that the strap is not original?

If you open one of those little photo's, and search for the image on Google search you'll get a link, or adress to the original advertisement Brian.
From the seller who's a dealer. I did so, and that chinstrap looks okay too me.

Thanks Coert, I come from the time before computers were in every home! :) If you say the strap is original then the price for this would be reasonable in my opinion. A person with deep pockets would simply buy it for the strap and then flip it.

Here's the link I got, it is the same helmet, as you will see Brian.
And just like you, I also come from the time computers were newfangled things, which didn't have my interest at all.
My father did however. My first computer was bought somewhere in 1997...

The inside of the helmet is heavily used. The price, if the chinstrap is original, is correct but M15 Pickelhaube are common, you could find a nicest.
And tte wo cocades cost roughly 160-200 $
