The Waffenrock and Schirmmütze came by way of Detlev Niemman. I've owned the Tschako for years (Tony, I'll still remember you in my will).

Below is a link to more pictures of the Tschako.

I had to do a double take there, that looked like one of my photos. YOU bought that from Detlev??? This is exactly how I pictured my group if I ever found a Tschako, as my Waffenrock and Schirmmutze are identical. Way to go! T

Yes, it appeared in Detlev's 28 October update. I saw it late in the day and pounced. Like your JB 10 Waffenrock, it has a black satin (or silk) lining and an internal belt. In this respect it is virtually identical to Ken Greenfield's new listing:

I can't make out the Eskadron number of your Waffenrock. Mine is 4. The Schirmmütze is unmarked .

Finally, I really enjoyed reading your GIBRALTAR Cuff-Title essay. The Bunker rules!

You may have nailed it.

Thanks Chas, have a look at it now. I just up-dated it with a scan of the AKO 24 January 1901 which introduced the GIBRALTAR cuff-title that Glenn provided me as well as links to the three Hannoverian Waffenrocks on my web site. Link >>> http://www.kaisersbunker.com/gibraltar/
