Just curious if anyone knows about this helmet....?

Hello all,

I was searching Ebay and came across what looks to be Russian cavalry helmet. This is not my helmet, and I do not collect Russian militaria but I am curious to know if this is original, or a fake.

Any opinions or input would be appreciated.

 
In my small experience in Russian things, I'd say it a conglomerate of original and fake parts, put together into a fantasy helmet. This as the spike is an early infantry spike, 1845 or so, the helmet is a Russian Garde Cavalry, and as for the rest I know not, but the overall point is that noone should buy this helmet.

Thank you for your input, I wasn't interested in buying it, I just want to know how original it is...
