As for the Stabs-Ordonnanzen.
(ref: J-L Larcade, Volume II; page 136)

"...Stabs Ordonnanzen-Staff Orderlies:
-up to 22 July 1852 these riders wear (on secondment from the Kav Regtr) their organic uniform. Then
they will take the helmet of the Armee Gendarmen. Until May 1900 they'll adopt the successive models
of Kü helmets. AKO dd 11 May 1900: they receive a similar uniform and a helmet identical to the J z Pf
(1897). For the Abteilung of the Garde: the helmet worn by the Meldereiter/Dispatch Riders (DR) of the
Garde since 30 March 1895. 31 March 1897: this Meldereiter (DR) become Garde J z Pf.

For the Abteilungen "Stabs Ordonnanzen"-“Staff Orderlies” of the other AK: helmet Mod 1897 for the Linien J z
Pf. During World War I, in 1915 -AKO dd 21 September-, the uniform and the helmet for the Stabs
Ordonnanzen are abolished..."

The "Linien Dragoner Adler" Wappen is introduced for the J z Pf Regiments in 1905, when the first J z Pf Regiments were formed.

Looks to me as if it was in a fire, or rusted severely. I wonder if the trim is painted? Hard to tell from the photos.
