Steve,
another great photograph. it does not help that whoever wrote down the names, did so in black over black printing.
It is most certainly III./45 and many of the names are decipherable, what is tricky, is sorting out whose name belongs to who in the picture.
The battalion commander, the four company commanders and the adjutant are mounted at the rear:
Standing are the drum major, three company sergeant majors, the company officers and probably the Bataillonsschreiber (chief clerk) or an acting company sergeant major.
The names I can make out so far:
Hptm. Noack 10./45
Lt. Vierzig
Lt. Kraner
Oberstabsarzt Dr. Duerdoth (he is not in the picture!)
Oblt. Jordan (Führer) 12./45
Lt. Wenk
Hptm. Kleinmichel 9./45
Lt. Heintz
Lt. Großkopf (d.R.)
Lt. Altnorthoff (Adjt.)
Lt. Altnorthoff (Georg)
Oblt. Neumann
Hptm. Ritter 11./45
Regards
Glenn
