King's Regiment Home Service Helmet

One of my other SOS purchases. This was so cheap, I couldn't pass it up. I remember when a helmet like this would have cost three times as much.
This is an Edwardian-era Home Service Helmet of the British Army's King's Regiment (Liverpool), one of the oldest line infantry regiments.

Beautiful Peter, in your place I would have had to buy it too- local to me! I think this is Regular Army, the Kings were, as you said, one of the oldest line regiments and the Home service are all silver fittings aren't they? Feeling a bit envious, Steve;)
