Kokarden boxes and packages

Hi Bruno,

The card states: "Unteroffiziere & Gemeine", i.e. this is presented as the Kokarde for Unteroffiziere and other ranks. Or am I stating the obvious?

Yes Lars, this is what I mean. Of course I agree with "other ranks", but I would have guessed that "Unteroffizier" rather applies to the upper middle cockade, marked as "Feldwebel", but that type was for "higher" Unteroffiziere... Okay, I should have re-read Joe's textbooks first...

Okay, here are the Kuerassier Kokarden. Like I said, I suspect they're replicas. Maybe somebody can tell me for sure.

Pretty hard to fake that wrapper Ron...correct material, correct lettering, spelling. They look real to me, crisp lines, it's probably because they look so new that throws you off plus of course no cardboard backing.

I've taken good care of them just in case. I still wonder about the backing though. :-k I bought these in the 1980's, I think they were $25 or $50... ? I always thought I might get a helmet that needed a pair, but no dice. Still a nice display item with the other helmets.
