Kube 150.Auktion Online

When looking at the upcoming Kube & Hermann auctions I realized that I really don't have enough disposable cash to spend on my collection and started thinking about buying a lottery ticket.
Ain't that the true!
I wish that I was younger and had more money
While I don't care for the H H auction
ever since they listed the hammer price on a helmet I won
and the copy of the customs made to my Tenn. State Tax Dept
and I had to pay $3,000 + in Tenn. sales tax
so I can't afford them
they do have a great sale this time
some of the items are from the Cavalry Museum
I made a list of 22 lots that I think are of special interest
IMO the highlight of the sale is Lot 3694 the H R 15 flag
the 1 G R zu Fuss officers's parade miter of Carl Edward
is really interesting.
I have a signed photo of him wearing that miter.

I bid on the book of the Garde Du Corps. But unfortunately I didn't win it.

I hope the HR. 15 standard stay in Germany. I know the complete history of that standard from 1867 till today.

Oberst Rüddenklau hast it all writen it.
The standardpole is in the German historical museum, and the sakuarspange in Wandsbek.

greetings

Henk

Hello John,

If you know the whole story behind this Standard, it is a disgrace that the German Government isn't acting in this miserable history. It is stolen by a German OberstLeutnant who had the order to keep the Standards, and the War ended and the Standards disappeared. Later he sold many of these objects.

And what is the German Government doing? Nothing !! And from that Blackrock Kanzler Merz you don't have to expect anything.

21,000 Euro + HH commission
do you know who won it ?
Steve

I can certainly understand why you feel this way. There are certain things that just belong to the people of a certain town or Country and are much more important than others or at least should be.
Yes , but for the most part they want the owner
to "donate " the item and it sold for over $30,000 U S D
after the add on

When Kube had his 1992 sale of I G regiment flags and flag streamers ; pole tops and unit rings
the government did step in and tried to halt the sale, saying that the flags were property of the government
Kube hired a lawyer and won the case .The sale went on
The H R 15 flag was part of the sale . That was the last time there was a try for stopping the sale of flags
