A bummer for me, as I love his catalogues and like many here keep them for reference.

I'm guessing they were considered items of value, and fell afoul of the recent repeal of the de minimis exemption? The recent suspension of postal service from most peer nations is based mostly on this sort of guesswork and lack of clarity.

As Steve observed, a sign of the times sadly. We'll see how it goes - I'll miss those catalogs.
 
I don't get it have gotten a few things from Germany since the "August deadline" even my nice Verlag book showed up and all without problems or tariffs,

Maybe it has something to do with the level of service maybe he ships with a book rate like we have here in the USA which is much cheaper class of shipping and cost much less.

Who knows. :unsure:

The sad part is for the collectors who pay Kube in advance for the catalog
They will not get what they paid for
Not Kube's fault
but also, not the fault of the people who paid
so if they can't get the catalog, what about the items they bid on and win?
what happens then ?

Yup, just renewed my subscription, guessing that money is long gone, sad, seams weird, I am still getting other stuff from Germany with no issues....
 
Seriously if anyone wants the catalogue just get Jan to ship it to me (He has my shipping address or I can provide it to you via DM) and I will be happy to forward it onto you, I will even cover the postage for you from Canada to the US.
