Dear fellow collectors,

Do any of you have the results list for Kube May 2024 auction? In the past, KIR 145 was so kind to post some Kube results.

I was interested in the officer's helmet of the Pr. 2nd Guards Dragoons (lot 825) which I know was already on sale in 2010.

I just received my invoice yesterday by email. from Kube. Bid on 3 items and lost 2. I bid 2100 Euros on #814 ,the officer's peaked cap for the Leib-Kürassier Regiment Nr. 1 (minimum bid 950) and still lost. Amazing ! So do the math : Euro= $1.08 and 25% buyers premium equals over $ 2800 with postage to buy a cap. It was in excellent shape.
 
What is everyone’s past experience with Kube regarding when items are shipped after the invoice is paid? Does he routinely provide Tracking Numbers?

You wanted it and one other collector at least
In the past I have found out that if a bidder is on the floor ( or on the phone ) a mailed in bid
will not win.

I think that KIR145 is out of pocket right now

In the past , I don't think so
Remember , I told you that Kube is very Old Fashioned
Maybe if you email and ask them ?

Here is my 2 Garde Dragoon officers helmet
Oddly , I bought it from Jan Kube quite a few years ago
This was before Kube auction got so big
Back then I bought it direct from Kube , not from his auction
He got it direct from the family and it came in the carry case
He bought 3 helmets at the same time
I bought all 3 of them
One of the other helmets was an officer of the 2 Garde Regt. zu Fuss with parade bush
right now I forget the 3rd helmet
but I can be sure that I still have it
Kube provided me with a letter stating where he got the helmets
so he also knew the name of the 2 Garde Dragoon officer
