Is there a manufacturer name stamped on the underside of the front visor? It looks original, and that it has been heavily polished throughout the years!

It looks good overall, except for the eagle that is too small for a Kurassier helmet, in my opinion. And this is not the typical Kurassier eagle. Do you have pictures of the reverse side and shell underneath? Perhaps some came originally with such infantry like eagles, but for me this is not the characteristic KR style. The Reich cockade seems to have been repainted, or may be a copy.
The light brown, M15 type leather liner is unusual on this model. An Eigentum helmet made in wartime?

Hi Pontiac9999 and 911car,

Thank you to both of you unfortunately I do not have the helmet in hand but I do remember a stamping on one of the brass visor rim. I will try to get the requested photos ASAP maybe early next week.

Regards, juno-44

It does have a squadron stamp. Unit stamps are also found under the right-hand cockade (national). Is that the correct type of fastener for the chinscales? The later models I thought had the post mounts instead of the screws.
