I often see discussion about special large scale Kurassier helmet plates. This one is on German Ebay. The seller attributes it to 1870.

At that period, Foot Troops and Kürassier were identical.

Once again, please ignore what the seller claims. Most time they have no clue and are going off a Google search.

Nice uncompleted Wappen though.
