Aha ! THE pickelhaube bible!
As every serious pickelhaube collector, both parts one and two have been part of my bookshelf for many years,
highly recommendable.
Many new books have come out since these were published , but non off them came close... in my humble opinion.

:-k Come to think of it, I think this book is responsible for making me a pickelhaube collector.
 
I recently saw the two volumes for sale for a humble 320€. I think I bought my first volume many years ago for some 900 Belgian francs, a whole lot of money then, now some 23€.
