Still one of the best references a collector can buy! However, it helps if you can read French. I have often wondered why M. Lacarde never updated his work with an edited version. I believe that he is still alive. Brian

Oh yes, he is alive and well and a very pleasant gentleman. He has written other related books, the latest one on Stormtruppen in WW1.

Ok guy's what is going on here??????

Hi Guys,
I felt to the work of examining the whole bids and bidders, one of the bidders has not a report very suitable with the purchase of a book for 400 euros. After this bid, she stopped...it gives what to think.
The current winner bidder has a report of purchases of helmets and related items that gives him a certain credibility...but for the time being everything doesn't pass of speculation. But that is strange, it is...

Well, Bruno, I can't beat that, but a quick search via abebooks.com turns up a pair in France for about US$250:

http://dogbert.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=591775205&searchurl=an%3Dlarcade%26y%3D4%26x%3D63

They are one of the better references going, I think I paid around EUR200 for mine when I got them a year or so ago.

If you don't have them, I wouldn't let the abebooks set go by.

Cheers,

Laurie
