Last African American WW1 vet passes

I hace seen a report that the last US African American WW! Veteran Passed away this week. He was the 3rd oldest man listed in the world.
Take time to give thought to tose gone before and yet to go. To me this is a generation like no other before or since.

Hi Mark:

I read about him in the papers prior to Veteran's Day. Though I can't immediately recall his name, I believe he was the last surviving combat veteran.

His name was Moses Hardy, he was 113 years old. He would have been 114 on 6 January.

That is very sad. I hate to be hearing about all these Vets passing and having to sit around on my butt not being able to ever meet any of them... :x
