I don't suppose anyone out there would have a spare Ledermaske GM17 with filter that they'd be willing to part with would you?

I'm not wanting a museum piece but not a trashed one either. the leather would need to be decent.

I don't need the carrying can either.
 
I think M17 gasmasks aren't hard to find.

True - they are not hard to find but I'm looking for a project one. Most I'm finding on-line are like the ones you sent links for. Those are too good to tinker with. I need more of the lower end - around the $150 - $200 mark. I'm refurbishing it for re-enacting. The ones you sent would be a crime to touch.
