This is a M-1910 officer's tunic named to Hauptmn Hans Zeidler. He recieved his leutnant's patent on 10/24/94 for JR 103. He recieved his patent as a captain on 5/22/08 while serving in LGR 100, and was awarded the Saxe-Ernsteine House Order knights badge 1st class. From the regimental history of LGR 100, he was the commander of the 2nd company at the start of hostilities in 1914, and ultimately was a batallion commander by September of that year. He is shown as one of the initial EK2 recipients for the regiment for the fighting at Bertoncourt, on 8/30/14. He recieved the Albert Order w/ swords on 10/31/14, and at some time around here, he is transfered to Res JR 243. He was wounded at Frezenberg, on 5/11/15. He was awarded the EK1 on 5/16/15. He died in a hospital on 7/21/15. Assuming he was around 20 when he recieved his first patent, he would have been around 40 when he died.

A little closer pic. Although the helmet and belt are correct for this unit, I obtained them separately and are not attributed to Hptm Zeidler.
