While I'm answering a million questions that I neglected during my cruise here are a couple of things you might find useful.

there was a link to this before but it was missing a series of pages. This is a tremendous resource the Histories of the 251 Divisions in the War. Yes there are mistakes but this is a standard resource and it is free.

Perhaps also of interest is the German national Library -- many will be pleased with the English language assistance.

Very helpfull, I have the 251 division's book and it is always in use, I will certainly be searching the other two archives :D

Yup I like the BSB it has a lot of very old books and sort of a nice (and elitist) atmosphere. And of course its for free too.

There is also a comprehensive search and order system called Subito. You can use it to research books in different libraries (including the BSB) and even have them copied, scanned or sent to you by mail:
