Hello, everyone,

I would like to show you one interesting photo from my collection. That is Lithuanian interwar army early period uhlans, wearing Imperial Tschapka's with Vytis cross in front of them. Which is one of symbols of Lithuania.

I'm glad that you liked it. If you are interested guys, I can show some more items from Lithuania interwar uhlans theme.

Yes, Fangschnur's were the same as the WWI German's. After WWI they came to our country as well as a large amount of other equipment.
In this photo you can see more early period uhlans wearing fangschnur's and armed with swords. One photo have the original coloring of that time, cockade is 1920 years model, these buttons and such a spur were used in Lithuania army in all interwar period.

Another composition slightly later period. In a photos of it, you can see more equipment which we got after WWI. Soldiers are wearing 1923 years model cockade, which you can see in this composition. In one photo uhlans rewarded medals for the Independence of Lithuania, 1928. I also put it into this display.

Thanks, Badener! :D
Another composition later period. You can see passport for a registered horse into army, very nice photo of uhlans with horses, 1934 years model cockade and other items used in the interwar Lithuanian cavalry.
