This weekend is Memorial Day weekend in the US. Memorial Day is for remembering and honoring those killed in service to the Country. While I was attending services at a local cemetery with my veterans group, I took a few photos of the largest monument in the cemetery.

I don't think the site likes me - I tried to post 4 photos, in purview they all showed up, but when I submitted it only one came through. I then tried to fix that and nothing came through.
 
Just minutes ago had a reply bad server gateway and a meer second later it was back to no problems

Seems adding them one at a time worked.

Needless to say we had a few Germans in the area. The 1870 cross stone marks to corners of the plot. The figure is about 2x life size.
