It's just alerting you to the fact that the site is not an https (secure) site like a store. As this site doesn't contain any financial information etc. I do not see it as a concern.
 
As someone who covers cyber security as a reporter I would only add that the one concern with this site not being secure is that passwords could be compromised more easily. What this means is you NEVER should use the same password for Pickelhaubes.com for any e-commerce (Amazon, eBay, etc.) type of site. That would be the only concern.

Also, if you do use this site under your real name I would also advise you NOT to use something related to your hobby for your bank or e-commerce password, so no words like "Uhlan" or "Kaiser" as hackers could try to look at your interests and deduce a password that way. Just my two cents.
