Darn - almost won this auction but not quite. Getting a better quality repro one for now so the helmet looks better.

If anyone else sees an original for sale or is willing to sell me one please let me know. Only non-original part on my helmet so I’d really like to get an original one.

Waiting is fun....not for me, Mr. impatient. Except when something is on the way then it's the fun of the anticipation of it arriving.

My mother kept my old reports cards from school and in my Kindergarten one it says:

"Peter tends to rush through his work and then bother the other children."

I think that says it all!

You can have this one if you wish. Lots or red missing, but rigorously genuine. It would match your seasoned helmet.
