It is mine that I have had for years.
As stated in listing, the shell and spike and base are for sure real, the kokarden, chinstrap are for sure repo as is the liner.
The front eagle I also believe is a repo, but I am not sure.
I read somewhere that after the war, the US soldiers found a warehouse full of these shells and sent them back to the US. my guess is it is one of those or a war bond type helmet that was not complete.
The nice Polished Steel finish is the real deal. As Bruno stated, the grey trim is most likley repainted.
the slots for front plate attachement are totally correct for an M15.
Great starter helmet if you cannot find or afford the complete helmet.
I have a few complete, thus am selling off this one and a few others to make more room.
