Here's a jager zu pferde for auction. The bluing finish is pretty much in immaculate condition.

Excellent helmet! I have never seen a half size in one of these metal helmets!

It’s also a nice example that shows that not all helmets with hexagonal nuts are messed up. These nuts appear to be sealed with the original lacquer.
