There were 2 posts about spikes I remember:
1. Brians „Officer Spike variations“. Unfortunately Brian’s photos aren’t online anymore. But I saved the photos (only Brian's) at the time, but unfortunately I uploaded many of my photos to Pinterest at some point to save storage space. However, this reduced the quality of the images and was a big mistake

Nevertheless, I attached a PDF with the photos to this post.
Its foto essay day here in Barrie! Having fun playing with spare parts! Hopefully, this effort will be interesting to some members. So, we all know that different manufacturers produced different variations within the so called strict regulations of the General staff. I do not know why everything was not standardized prior to the war. However, having just taught the Industrial Revolution to my G12's it is probably due to the fact that mass production was relatively new as was the concept of interchangeable parts. The officer spike tops as we shall see here are definitely not...
2. Spikers post „M15 Spike“:

1; Bayern frühe Artillerie und Kavallerie. (cross base)
2; Hessen (cross base)
3; Jäger zu Pferden (flat cross base)
4; curassiere (flat elips base)
5; Infanterie (round base)
6; Artillerie (round base)
I have another photo from the originator “
R-Kollektion” It is titled “Pickelhauben Spitzen Mannschaften M1915” (“Picklehauben spikes enlisted men M1915”). It shows the M1915 spikes of a JzP helmet, a cuirassier helmet, and an infantry helmet with measurements. Unfortunately, I no longer know where I got the photo from. So if anyone knows or can identify the author “
R-Kollektion” please let me know, so I can ask them if I can upload the photo.
Thank you very much
