Hi Guys,

These are my two new helmets. Could you please give your opinions on the chinstraps and the Kokardes? The chinstrap on the Württemberg is stitched. The one on the Prussian looks glued.

A glued chin strap is definetly not original....either stitched by hand or riveted. Nice markings on the Arty helme. The M15 Wurtt is a rare beast. It took me many years to track one down. The Wurtt also looks like a war bond helmet to me due to the condition of the liner which looks unused. Your kokarden are in excellent shape and look original to me because they have been punched from the back side producing a slight lip on the painted side. Very nice M15 helmets overall.

Two very nice finds in great shape!

Brian gave you the correct answers, congrats on your new helmets.
