For sale: Steel banded M16 G62
Retains all three white chrome tanned leather pads complete with horse hair filling. All in very nice condtion. The original owner has neatly pencilled their name in the rear skirt and underlined it for extra emphasis.
To the front of the shell just above front visor, the word ‘Jerry’ can be made out, and perhaps an ‘a’. Looks to have been something written by the soldier that souvenired it.
Also on the left back portion of the shell are the remains of some type of painted shield. Period or post WW1 - it’s hard to say. All original and untouched.
