I'm happy to see this new section on the forum.
I'll start off with my latest aquisition, a well worn M16 T.J. 66 (C. Thiel & sons, Luebeck) bearing the Hohenzollern crest worn by some (if not all) Regiments of the 1st Guard Infantry Division. The crest appears to have been period retouched: it looks like an unbordered crest was painted overtop an earlier bordered one.
