M1905 Jäger zu Pferde helmet

Here's a model 1905 Jäger zu Pferde helmet for enlisted men and NCO's. It's produced by Juncker and has size 54,5... No story to tell in this case, I just obtained this helmet from a dealer a few years ago...

I showed this one to the Missus..."have a look...the missing link"...she just nodded and walked away...

Just to let you know...should you ever; ever; ever; ever want to get rid of this beauty... :D

Hmm, Francis :o ....Because of my own experiences, two possibilities for you now:
1-) you are a lucky guy and you wil get such a beautiful JzPf for your next birthday or X-mas \:D/
2-) your hobby is slowly getting on your wife´s nerves :cry: and a small present could make her "Pickelhauben-appreciative" again... :D

Great piece indeed and in pristine condition quite hard to upgrade!! :bravo:
This one seems to have never been issued/worn? Maybe because of the small size which wasn't common?

This sounds familiar. I stopped showing helmets to the missus that I like but my oldest daughter likes to see pickelhaubes on the computer :D

2. By your experience...would a "small" diamond ring do....
3. I keep telling her about "the best investment ever". A J z Pf helmet is as hard to get as hens teeth...Won't listen...

Francis, you're right about the Belgian beer, but I also believe the diamond should be big enough because you don't want trouble with the Missus... Maybe a small JzPf helmet in gold on a very nice gold chain can pull her trigger?
On the other hand, when she doesn't listen to your investment plan, you can always ask if shoes are a better plan 8-) ...
