Hello All,
I am reducing my collection a little and will be selling two more Pickelhauben.
m1915 Prussian - $450 (shipping $18 for continental US)
Pros: Leather is in very good shape and it displays well.
Cons: A rear brim that may need resewing, some rough spots on the liner. It was also discussed elsewhere on the forum that a previous owner removed the posts and then sandwiched Wuerttemberg Kokarden between the posts and the leather. I would remove the Kokarden, but I don't want to risk damage. There is also some skepticism that other metal parts were switched out. This does not have a chinstrap.
m1895 Prussian -$325 (shipping $18 for continental US)
Pros: Nice helmet to display as well, brass is in good shape and the sewing has held together well. Has a piece of a chinstrap and one Kokarde.
Cons: Leather has cracks, Wappen is missing one rear prong and the brass brim is not completely flush. No original chinstrap, but I do have a repro that is brass and not the highest quality if you were interested.
I know there have been issues sending messages on the forum, so you can send me an email ([email protected]) or respond over the post.
Thanks!
Joe
