These are fun to look for and once in a while find one
These were for the so called " Future Peace Time " Waffenrock
" The Friedensrock "
all regiments have now white straps only
not sure what the Foot Gardes did G R zu Fuss 2 ; 3 ; 4 and Garde Fusiliers ?
Maybe they had piping ? I don't think that I have ever seen one ?

Hi Steve,
Very nice, not that common.
The blue stylised "H" belongs to Bezirkskommando Hannover imo, and looks how it would have looked pre-war.
Regards,
Lars

Edit: changed from "Halle" to "Hannover"

Yes , all of these straps are less in width

I do NOT find many of them
right now straps have "dried up "

that H strap was at the S O S one year
Chip Minx was there and bought that strap from Mike Kelso
while at the show Chip reviewed his strap list and found out that he
already had that strap
he returned it Mike
and then I bought it

Steve, as I have no knowledge of straps, and you most certainly do, are these straps original?
  • Duitse WW1 uniform schouderstukken!
  • Duitse WW1 uniform schouderstukken!

Regards, Coert.

From the front they look O K to me
How do they look on the back side ?
Red underlay with # 10
maybe J B 10 ; P B 10 ??
They are Prussian
the numbers and rank stars are normally gilt / brass
Steve

On the back, they look like this Steve:

  • Duitse WW1 uniform schouderstukken!
  • Duitse WW1 uniform schouderstukken!
They are on sale, as being original WW1 straps.
But, as I have no knowledge about straps, I ask you, you know much more about them, than I do.
They are asking €50 for them, by the way.
Thanks for your answers Steve!

Regards, Coert.

If interested I would ask to see the backs with the flap pulled down so
that you can see the backs without them in the way
the strap on the left looks like a couple of extra holes are punched thru
the tops
Not often on straps but I have seen cyphers or numbers that have been changed
What does the seller call them ?
Steve

The seller just stated that they were original German ww1 straps. But I will send him a message, and ask for a picture with the flaps pulled down.
If I get that, I'll post it here Steve!

Regards, Coert.
