Here's my latest purchase... It's an officers pickelhaube M95 Baden Leib-Grenadier-Regt. Nr.109... The frosted silver of the helmetplate is a little bit worn, but hey, it's no so easy to find one...

Beautiful Karel. A wonderful Pickelhaube. But officer's? With a stamped center Wappen with no enamel and rounded spike base brads?

Yes, I was a bit to fast by that #-o #-o #-o ... it"s a Fähnrich of course #-o #-o #-o .

Hi Karel,

Congratulations on another absolutely stunning, beautiful example that you've added to your collection! =D> That is a very rare bird indeed, to find a "Fähnrich" model from this regiment. A most excellent find, and congratulations once again! Thanks for sharing pictures with us! :bravo:

All the Best,

Alan

Beautifully preserved; thanks for sharing Karel!
Since this turned out to be a Fähnrich, this means you now need to find a real Officer version as well as the OR counterpart to complete the family! :D

Who needs more? If I had that helmet Karel, I would not see a need to spend a small fortune for an officer's with the enamelled star. I would be very pleased to have that, as you must be. Its a superb helmet.

Thank you very much for your positive comments gentlemen!
I was indeed very thrilled when I could acquire this fantastic haube. I just took the pictures and was even so "in the clouds" that I mistitled it as an officers model... I guess the haube virus is still very present in my brain :-k ...
Anyway, I'm very happy with this rare haube!

I agree with Tony and just my opinion but finding a star with a good amount of enamel intact in good condition is no easy find. You have done good. This is my number 1 on my short list, I love it and I must have one!!! :x

=D>

Always amazed by the quality of your Haubes!

Let me guess, this one also comes from the Garden ?

Congratulations!

It's amazing to even think that there are examples from this regiment still out there in as good condition as yours. I, too, would love to own one like this.
