Here is my M95 Prussian Kugelhelm Fußartillerie other ranks. The helmets with the FWR wappen were worn by the Prussian Fußartillerie Regiments Nr. 1, 2, 3 and 6.
From 1894 on, the Prussian Fußartillerie Regiments normally had leather chinstraps on their helmets, but this helmet is a private purchase for use at parades. It has the flat brass chinscales, removable ball top, black Haarbush and officer type liner.
The helmet is produced by Awes Marke and has size 57.
Hope you like this one gentlemen...

Sweet! They always produce such nice helmets. I think I have noted three different types of quality in the sweatband. Super nice helmet–do you need me to store it for you?

Honestly, I used to scoff at private-purchase helmet and only bought issued, but now I love them. Must have a few dozen. That is a beautiful example Karel. What a great Wappen. What a great helmet!

What a fantastic artillery helmet. The wappen is imaculate as is the whole helmet and harbusch. Any chance of a close-up of the trichter?

Thank you very much for the positive comments my friends! They are well appreciated.

Joe, the bunker is almost ready now, I have already given it a place... 8-)

Great helmet! but i gotta ask, what is your photography secret?
Well, actually I have no great skills when it comes to photography, but I listened very carefully to people who know a lot about it...
First of all, I bought a new camera; a Nikon D300 with standard lens 14 - 24 large angle. I always use a very stabile tripod and set the camera at a 5 sec delay, so shaking or trembling will be excluded...
Then lightning is very very important... At first I wanted to buy some proffessional lights or a light box. This seemed very expensive and therefore I purchased two lamps they use in construction sites... Very cheap, compared with the proffessional lamps... I put a matt sheet in front of the lamps, to become diverted light...
As background I use a 30 euro standard window shutter... It rolls up when I don't need it...
After all that, practice, practice, practice...

Any chance of a close-up of the trichter?
Will do so when I've a bit more time...

I think it is time to fire up the truck and head to Belgium, we can get some mushrooms while we are there, How about a shot of the bunker, it would be nice to see the whole collection in context (it would also be helpfull in knowing where to break through the wall)
Best
