My translation might be a bit literal

A loving heart that prays to God That it will soon return again, The loving treasure to the home hearth From service at the machine gun.

May the enemy come, the fiercest storm they know how to fight back safely, they are loyal to the country and loyal also to the dear ones who are from the machine guns
