I think it is a repro, but not sure do!

As best it is for a musical chapel/ Fanfare... Worst it is a very poor attempt for a Pickelhaube.
I have seen such one on a flea market near Verdun, Is that where it originates from?

Just kidding, it’s a repro but not designed to look like any existing model , it’s up to you whether you like these or not.
 
Hey Nick,

I think you got your question answered. Perhaps the point is that if you're looking for an original helmet, this is a very poor replica. or if sold to you as an original, a fake. However, if you want a fun helmet for parties and such, this might be okay for that. As has been said, it's up to you!
