Wow!! That's an enormous improvement. Infinitely better than using any manual method I can think of. So, this is the same type of sonic cleaner that a jeweler would use?

Amazing result Brian! Can you share any info on the cleaner you use? I've been considering getting one but there is a bewildering array of sizes and styles.

Yes Steve, the very same as a jeweler. Gunners also use them to clean their brass. There are different sizes to clean smaller and larger objects. My model is..Tru Sonic TS 2.5L . There are also different liquid formulas but here is the one I use:
Hot water..1 quart
1 cup vinegar
1 tbsp of salt
1 tbsp of Dawn dish soap (any brand will work actually)
