He parked on the road and walked the package up to the house .

What a fine Dragoner Helm. Congratulations!
The Regiment suffered severe losses against the Belgian troops at Halen-in Belgium 12th August 1914. [Remember our book...] .
-We visited the Garrison town Parchim, the memorial and the former Barracks. Stories to tell.
-Just after exiting the village of Halen, when positioning the Eskadrons / Squadrons for the attacks on the Belgian guns on the ridge; Regiments Kommandeur Major Viktor Graf Digeon von Monteton and his Adjutant were killed.
