Here is my little guy at age three. Photo taken in 2001. 20 years ago. Hard to believe.

As always he was a Trooper for the photo.

I surely know how you miss Kaiser. These animals, may they be cats or dogs, They are so important. I had to let go of my little cat Belle. I found her in 2005 On a battlefield cemetary, in Belgium. She lived to the age of 15, and had a great life with me here. But you know, I miss her.Belle, r.i.p. lieverd...jpg

Belle passed away at the age of 15, on the first of december this year.. I mis my little baby cat. I loved her so much, and she knew. She gave everything to me too. She knew I saved her, and gave all her love to me.

The same thing with a little puppy dog that my wife saved over 3 years ago.
He is devoted to her .When she goes out of the house , he stands by the door
and looks out for her until she comes back into the house .

My current two “happy” cats. Roxy (black), Linda (calico). I think Linda is part dog as she runs to the door to meet me when I get home. You can see they were both very happy to wear their helmets.

This is the cemetary where I found Belle. But better said she found me. She came to me, little, scared and hungry and alone.
On the way back home, I fed her all the meat on my sandwiches I brought for the trip to Ypres. So I returned home very hungry, but with a little cat I loved dearly.

Very nice story, Coert, except for the sad recent end. After some time, get another one.

Coert, I‘m sorry to read that Belle passed away this month. It is a touching story how you found her. Unfortunately the time we can spend with our pets is limited, but it's nice to read that she found a loving family. My warmest condolences.
