MG stuff

Guys I just finished taking pics of my MG (Maxime 08 and 08/15) accessories and I've uploaded on my web site, they are not yet described and not 100% in the order so far, give a look anyway if you have 5 minutes to loose and let me know. Some ot the items are unidentified and I'm looking for some more info on them. Enjoy your visit !

Hey Stephane,
I can see now that I must contact my people in the navy to see if I can borrow the aircraft carrier, it is going to take much more than a truck. Is this material going to end up in book form soon?
Best wishes
Gus

Marvellous stuff =D> This website - albeit a work in progress is already firmly ensconced in my 'favourites'. Great layout - easily navigated. You've made some good design choices mate.

Re: the MG08 & MG08/15 pictures - magnificent reference material in there. First class. Should I ever be lucky enough to acquire some MG odds and ends, I know where I'll head to get the good-oil. If you ever manage to put it into book form, you'll be on a dead-set winner.

Incidentally, whilst tracking to the aforementioned section, I was distracted by the contents of your archeology category - there are some truly incredible photographs there.

This site is a real credit to you Stephane.

Thanks guys, that's a so heavy load, taking pics, working on them on the computer, uploading, describing, etc... but your nice comments are a great encouragment to me :) and I will proceed full speed 8)
I plan to finish on the telephone category this week end and place them on the site, I'll let you know....
concerning the archeology post, it gives another dimension, more human, to our interest for these items, these young men, French, German, British, Americans, Belgians etc have had a terrible time.
My Grand Father spent 4 years in the war, since the very first day till the cease fire, he was injuried in Verdun in June 1916, he was poisoned by gas, he survived till 1969. Tough guy !
have a great week end !
