Indeed. I spend a lot of time there as between touring the many battlefields and our eldest son living there (now with wife and our granddaughter) for the past 14 years we go twice a year or more.

Beer, fries, bread, chocolate, cheese…..all the favorite things that’s contributed to my portly figure are the best. Had a Chimay Red last night whilst watching the baseball game!

My wife and I were doing the Christmas markets in Belgium and Holland one year and yes, amazing fries. But the vendor was very upset when we did not want any of his sauces on ours, just salt. Not really upset just looked at us incredulously or like we had three heads when we did want any LOL.

Now you've got me wanting to go to Ypres agian, and not only to visit it once more, which is great, but for those excellent fries they serve in Belgium. By the way, when I visit Belgium, I alway's take home those excellent Trappist beers too.

Nu heb ik zin om nog een keer naar Ieper te gaan, en niet alleen om het nog een keer te bezoeken, wat geweldig is, maar voor die uitstekende frietjes die ze in België serveren. Trouwens, als ik in België kom, neem ik ook altijd die uitstekende trappistenbieren me naar huis.

Yep, they seem to like West Vleteren more, it is a nice one, but I like several of the ones you posted.
In fact, in my village is a specialist store which sells almost every one you have shown.
